The Elk County Housing Authority (ECHA) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a renewal of its Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Service Coordinator Grant. The renewal will allow ECHA to continue providing valuable services and resources to residents through the ROSS Program.
The renewal is a reflection of the excellent work and continued success of the program, led by Amanda Cook, ECHA’s ROSS Coordinator. Amanda’s dedication to connecting residents with resources, supporting their goals, and helping them achieve greater self-sufficiency has been instrumental to the success of the program.
The ROSS Program currently serves 116 active participants, providing residents with connections to employment opportunities, education, health and wellness resources, financial education, transportation assistance, and other community services. Through individualized support and partnerships with local organizations, the program helps residents identify and overcome barriers while working toward greater independence and self-sufficiency.

The ROSS Program remains an important part of ECHA’s commitment to providing more than housing by helping residents build the skills, connections, and resources needed to achieve their personal and economic goals.
