Johnsonburg Senior Center

The Johnsonburg Senior Center is still closed to social gathering and all activities are cancelled until further notice. The Center is open from 8:00am to 2:00pm Monday – Friday to answer any questions.

Take-Out meals for Office of Human Services registrants are available for registered consumers who have called the Center at 965-5638 by 12:30pm the prior day. They would love to have new people to serve this very nice lunch to. It only serves Seniors from the community, above 60 years of age. It only takes a few minutes to register over the phone to receive these meals by donation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Residents in the 814 Area should start using 10-digit Dialing beginning October 3, 2020. This is voluntary for now. Starting April 3, 2021 all calls made within the 814 area code MUST be placed using the area code plus the seven-digit telephone number.

Beginning May 1, 2021 or when all possible 814 telephone number combinations are exhausted, a new 582 area code will be assigned to customers requesting new phone numbers.

Here are some important points:

  • Your telephone number, including current area code, will not change.
  • You will need to dial the area code plus the telephone number for all local calls.
  • You will continue to dial 1 pus the area code plus the telephone number for all long-distance calls.  What is now a local call will remain a local call.
  • The price of a call, coverage area, or other rates and services will not change due to the overlay.
  • You can still dial just three digits to reach 911, 211, 311, 511 and 811.
